Engineering - We're Hiring - New
Sales Development Representative
Remote - Full
At Callin.io, we're building the voice AI infrastructure that powers the next generation of human-machine conversations. Our platform handles millions of conversation minutes, enabling businesses to deploy intelligent voice agents that feel genuinely natural. We're a small, senior team moving fast on hard problems — and we're looking for engineers who thrive in that environment.
As Sales Development Representative at Callin.io, you'll be the tip of the spear for our go-to-market motion - the first person a prospective customer hears from, and the one responsible for turning cold outreach into qualified conversations. You'll research target accounts, craft compelling outbound sequences, engage decision-makers across channels, and hand off well-qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team.
This is a role with real growth potential. You'll learn enterprise sales from the ground up in a category that's moving fast, work closely with senior sellers and leadership, and have a direct line of sight into how your work affects revenue. If you're hungry, coachable, and excited by the challenge of opening doors in a market that's still being discovered, this is where you start.
Research and identify target accounts across callin.io's core verticals, building a deep understanding of the companies and buyers most likely to benefit from voice AI
Execute high-quality outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn — with messaging that's relevant, personalized, and worth responding to
Qualify inbound leads quickly and accurately, ensuring the AE team is spending time on opportunities with real potential
Book and coordinate discovery calls between qualified prospects and Account Executives, with clear handoff notes and context
Maintain accurate records of all outreach activity and pipeline progress in CRM
Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging, test new sequences, and improve conversion at the top of the funnel
Develop a strong understanding of callin.io's product, use cases, and competitive positioning — enough to handle early objections and spark genuine curiosity
3+ years of experience in a customer success, sales, or client-facing role in B2B SaaS — you're comfortable in professional conversations and know how to build rapport quickly
Technical aptitude and a willingness to develop genuine product knowledge — you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to understand what you're selling well enough to be credible
Strong written and verbal communication skills — your outreach is clear, concise, and tailored, not templated and forgettable
Resilience and a positive attitude toward rejection — you treat a "no" as information, not a verdict
A structured, self-disciplined approach to daily prospecting activity — you manage your time well and hold yourself accountable to your numbers
Curiosity about AI, voice technology, and the enterprise software space
Exposure to AI or emerging technology products — either selling them or using them in a professional context
Experience working with or prospecting into enterprise accounts, with an understanding of how buying decisions get made in large organizations
Familiarity with sales engagement tools — Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar
Ambition to grow into a full-cycle AE role and a clear sense of what that path looks like for you
Get in early. We're building the sales motion from the ground up. The SDRs who join now will have a significant hand in shaping how we go to market - and will be first in line as the team scales.
Learn from people who've done it. You'll work directly with senior enterprise sellers and leadership, with real mentorship and a clear path toward an AE role.
A product worth selling. Voice AI for the enterprise is genuinely new, genuinely valuable, and genuinely interesting to talk about. Your prospects will be curious - your job is to make sure they stay that way.
Async-first, fully remote. Structure your day around your pipeline and your targets, not around a physical office.
Competitive compensation. Base salary plus commission, benchmarked to SDR roles at top-tier SaaS companies, with uncapped upside as you hit and exceed quota.
