Engineering - We're Hiring - New
Product Manager
Remote - Full
At Callin.io, we're building the voice AI infrastructure that powers the next generation of human-machine conversations. Our platform handles millions of conversation minutes, enabling businesses to deploy intelligent voice agents that feel genuinely natural. We're a small, senior team moving fast on hard problems — and we're looking for engineers who thrive in that environment.
As Product Manager at Callin.io, you'll sit at the intersection of customer needs, technical constraints, and business strategy. You'll own the product roadmap, define what gets built and why, and make sure the team is always working on the things that matter most. This isn't a coordination role — it's a leadership role. You'll shape the direction of a voice AI platform that's growing fast, in a space that's still being defined.
You'll spend meaningful time with customers - understanding how they use callin.io, where they struggle, and what would unlock real value for them. Then you'll bring that back into the team as clear, actionable requirements that engineers and designers can build against with confidence. If you love being close to both the customer and the code, and you're energized by the ambiguity of an early-stage product, this is the role for you.
Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and long-term strategic bets
Work directly with customers - through interviews, feedback sessions, and hands-on usage — to develop a deep understanding of their workflows and pain points
Translate customer insights into clear, well-scoped product requirements and user stories that the engineering team can move on quickly
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to take features from idea to launch to iteration
Own prioritization decisions - with a clear framework, transparent tradeoffs, and the conviction to say no when needed
Track product performance post-launch, define success metrics, and drive continuous improvement based on data and user feedback
Help shape callin.io's positioning and product narrative as we grow into new customer segments and use cases
3+ years of product management experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company where you owned a meaningful part of the product
A strong technical background - an engineering or CS degree is preferred, and comfort reading code or discussing system architecture is a real advantage here
Hands-on experience with API-first or developer-facing products - you understand how technical buyers evaluate and adopt infrastructure tools
Sharp written and verbal communication skills - you can write a crisp one-pager, run a tight customer interview, and present a roadmap to leadership with equal ease
A data-informed decision-making style - you know when to trust the numbers and when to trust your gut, and you're honest about the difference
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment where priorities shift and adaptability is essential
Experience in voice AI, conversational design, or the broader speech technology space
Familiarity with telephony, contact center platforms, or CPaaS products — understanding how this industry works at a business level
Background working with LLM-integrated products or AI-native developer tools
Prior experience at an early-stage startup where you helped build product processes from scratch
Real product ownership. You'll own the roadmap, not just manage it. Your decisions will directly shape what gets built, how it gets positioned, and how customers experience Callin.io.
Close to the customer, close to the code. We're small enough that you'll have direct access to both - no layers of account managers between you and the feedback, no ticket systems between you and the engineers.
Async-first, fully remote. Work from wherever you do your best thinking. We care about outcomes, not office hours.
A market still taking shape. Voice AI for business is early. The product decisions made now will define the category. You'll be making some of them.
Competitive compensation. Salary benchmarked to senior PM roles at top-tier tech companies, regardless of your location.
